So here I am, snowed in and sick. Who wants to hop a plane with me and get our butts somewhere nice? Hawaii, Australia, some island somewhere? I’m totally justified to bitch about the weather. It’s insane. Luckily, there’s a ton of recipes out there that are super easy, and all the ingredients are already in the kitchen. A chocolate chip cookie pie is perfect to warm you up.
A cookie pie is a million times easier to make than cookies. It’s actually kind of better too. Eat a cookie pie right out of the oven and you’ll be in heaven. It’s warm, ooey and gooey. Nothing better than a warm, over-sized chocolate chip cookie. And yes, it does actually taste just like a giant cookie.
I just realized I said to pretty much eat the whole pie out of the oven. Don’t worry, no judgement here.
I used a frozen pie crust because, for whatever reason, there’s always a few in the freezer. Add a little more buttery and flacky to your cookie pie.
Serve the chocolate chip cookie pie with a big scoop of ice cream and some chocolate syrup. Enough to make your mouth water, isn’t it?

- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Mix all ingredients and pour into pie crust.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, until starting to brown. Inside will be gooey.
